‘Make Your Mark’ with storm drain marking event July 28
Help keep Tacoma’s waterways clean by volunteering with your friends and family during this year’s “Make Your Mark” storm drain marking event on Saturday, July 28, in Tacoma’s Lower Puyallup Watershed.

Volunteers will meet at Boze Elementary School, 1140 E. 65th St., Tacoma, at 9 a.m. and then divide into groups to mark storm drains with a “No Dumping: Drains to Puget Sound” message. Storm drain marking should wrap up by noon. Lunch will be provided for volunteers.

To RSVP or for more information, contact Jeanine Riss, Citizens for a Healthy Bay volunteer coordinator, at (253) 383-2429 or jriss@healthybay.org. Please RSVP by July 25 to ensure enough materials will be available.

This project is sponsored by City of Tacoma Public Works Environmental Services, Pierce Conservation District Stream Team and Citizens for a Healthy Bay.
