Administers loans to a variety of clients: low-income families who need help in buying or repairing their homes; owners who provide multi-family housing to low-income families; businesses which create jobs or rehabilitate older, blighted buildings; and non-profit organizations that provide services to our community. Its purpose is to administer federal grants and other programs or projects or activities financed from funds derived directly or indirectly from a grant agreement or undertaken in conjunction with a federal program or other programs, including but not limited to the Community Development Program of the City of Tacoma.
