Background 

On October 2, 2012, City Manager T.C. Broadnax provided the Tacoma City Council with budget recommendations for the 2013-2014 Proposed Biennial Budget.

The study session was held in Council Chambers and televised live on TV Tacoma for residents, and this slideshow presentation is available for your review. There is also a document detailing Responses to Council Questions Regarding Performance Measures and Performance Measures Addendum.

A comprehensive video also provides an overview for residents of the balanced budget proposed for the City's 2013-2014 biennium, its revenue sources, and how Tacoma residents could participate in the budget development process that was featured at each of these community budget input meetings.
