Puyallup Avenue Corridor Design Public Meeting on Nov. 9

The City of Tacoma is holding a public meeting to discuss corridor improvements along Puyallup Avenue on Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 5 –7:30 p.m. at La Quinta Inn & Conference Center (1425 E. 27th St. in Tacoma).   

Residents are invited to attend this meeting and give comment on the developing conceptual design for corridor improvements along Puyallup Avenue from Portland Avenue to South C Street.  This project is meant to enhance the experience along the corridor for pedestrians, cyclists, drivers and transit riders. Possible improvements include landscaping, lighting, new sidewalks and crossings, bicycle improvements, enhanced transit facilities, and other amenities.
