City of Tacoma Observes Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday on January 15

Administrative offices at the City of Tacoma will close on Monday, January 15 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.

The Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center (3510 S. Mullen St.) will be open as normally scheduled on Monday, January 15, from 8 AM – 5:30 PM, and garbage, recycling, and yard/food waste curbside collection will not be affected.

All Tacoma Public Library locations will be closed on Saturday, January 13.

There will be no parking enforcement by City staff on Monday, January 15.
