Members of the City Council are scheduled to consider a resolution March 21 that would express support or opposition to the Winthrop Rehabilitation Project as proposed by A.F. Evans. The Council is scheduled to offer its opinion of the rehabilitation project in response to a request from the Housing Division staff of the State Department of Community Trade, and Economic Development.

City Council members are scheduled to discuss two transportation issues during the March 21 study session. Sound Transit staff will present a grade separation alternative for commuter rail trains to cross Pacific Avenue as part of the planned Sounder service extension to Lakewood. Council members are also scheduled to discuss Tacoma's priority projects for the Regional Transportation Improvement District. The Council will not take public comment during the study session.
