Surplus Property

The City of Tacoma invites interested parties to browse for surplus property that is currently available. There are four surplus categories as described below. All property is sold/donated as-is and recipient will be required to sign a hold harmless release. Surplus real property, however, may have other special conditions.

Surplus items available for purchase that are estimated to be $200,000 or more. Sealed bid submittals on approved City forms will be accepted through the specified date, opened publicly, and awarded to the best responsible bidder.	Surplus items available for purchase that are estimated to be less than $200,000. Bid submittals on approved City forms will be accepted through the specified date and awarded to the best responsible bidder.


Surplus items available for purchase that are estimated to be less than $15,000. Offers will be accepted through the specified date and will be awarded to the individual that submits the best offer.	Surplus items available for donation to the specified group(s). Items will be donated on a first come - first response basis.
