Artist Trust
Artist Trust is a not-for-profit organization whose sole mission is to support and encourage individual artists working in all disciplines in order to enrich community life throughout Washington State. Artist Trust offers grants, fellowships, awards, and professional development workshops for individual artists. They also maintain a database of opportunities including funding, residency programs, employment listings and resources, studio space & housing listings, discipline-specific resources, legal resources, health resources and emergency assistance programs.
Shunpike
Shunpike helps all kinds of small and mid-sized arts groups better manage the business aspects of art through fiscal sponsorship services, arts business advice services, Storefronts and artist-in-residency program, Artists of Color Expo & Symposium, and more.
Washington Lawyers for the Arts
Washington Lawyers for the Arts (WLA) is a nonprofit service organization dedicated to supporting the arts in Washington state by creating alliances and making legal resources accessible to artists and arts organizations of all disciplines. WLA offers Arts Legal Clinics, Legal Workshops, Legal Referrals, and a Speakers' Bureau.
Communities Rise
Communities Rise works with organizations, small businesses, and communities located in Washington state that have been impacted by systemic oppression to increase capacity and build power. They offer support through peer learning, coaching, legal services, and trainings.
SMASH
SMASH is a nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping local musicians healthy by providing free and low-cost access to primary care, mental health treatment, dental, vision, hearing, Substance Use Disorder treatment, and health care navigation. SMASH serves musicians living in King, Snohomish, Pierce, Mason, Kitsap and Thurston counties.
Make It Tacoma
The City of Tacoma’s Make It Tacoma program helps to cultivate our local businesses by providing them with the information and resources they need to be successful in today’s marketplace. Resources include listings of available properties, incentives, and events and training.
