Free In Class Environmental Lessons

• We have many lessons available for 3rd through 8th grade for free for ALL students within the City of Tacoma, public and private.
• For High School, PreK/Kinder, and online lessons, please reach out via email: envirochallenger@cityoftacoma.org

Before Scheduling a Lesson

• Please notify your administration at the same time of lesson inquiry/booking
• EnviroChallengers follow all safety guidelines for in-person, on site visits.
• Lessons are 50 minutes for standard, in-person lessons.
• We recommend having one teacher per grade band to coordinate visits.
• EnviroChallengers are available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. (Unavailable Wednesdays)
• All bookings are subject to program availability.
• We will do our best to accommodate all requests for bookings.

How to Schedule a Lesson

• Please read the "PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING" included below each lesson choice. This contains new information and new booking procedures.
• If you have difficulty, please email: envirochallenger@cityoftacoma.org 
• Confirmations will be sent once request is booked and scheduled with our EnviroChallengers team

During an In Person Lesson

• Please inform the EnviroChallengers of any planned emergency drills as soon as possible.
• A teacher, or a responsible adult, is required to be in all in person lessons at all times
