TAGRO Facility Closes to Residential Customers on March 26

-- Home Delivery is Still Available --

Following Governor Inslee's emergency “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order and to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, the City of Tacoma’s Environmental Services Department is making modifications to its TAGRO services.

Starting Thursday, March 26, the TAGRO facility located at the Central Treatment Plant (2301 Cleveland Way, Gate 6) will be closed to residential customers until further notice. During this time, the TAGRO free pile will also be closed to the public.

Residential customers can still schedule deliveries by calling (253) 502-2150 from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.  It is requested that payments be arranged over the phone at the time orders are placed. To better serve our customers, the three-yard minimum order for customers outside the city limits has been waived until further notice.

The TAGRO facility will remain open to commercial customers only. Commercial hours have been modified to 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The facility will close from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM each weekday to accommodate staff shift changes.

TAGRO will continue to monitor the situation and will update customers of any changes at TAGRO.com and through the TAGRO newsletter. To sign-up for the newsletter and receive updates, text TAGRO to 22828. All questions and delivery requests can be directed to (253) 502-2150.
