City of Tacoma Observes Thanksgiving Holiday on November 26 and 27

Administrative offices at the City of Tacoma will close Thursday, November 26, and Friday, November 27, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center (3510 S. Mullen St.) will close – and garbage, recycling and yard waste will not be collected – Thursday, November 26. Customers whose garbage, recycling and yard waste are normally picked up on Thursdays or Fridays can expect pick-up one day later this week. All other customers can expect pick-up as normally scheduled.

The latest updates on City facilities, including the administrative offices at the Tacoma Municipal Building complex (747 Market St. and 733 Market St.), are available here
