Fawcett Avenue Projects Update Virtual Meeting on September 8

 

The City of Tacoma is holding a Fawcett Avenue Projects Public Update Meeting on Wednesday, September 8, from noon - 1 PM via Zoom webinar.

 

Staff from the City’s Public Works Department will present on upcoming construction projects along Fawcett Avenue. Two adjacent projects will be presented including, Fawcett Avenue - South 21st to South 19th streets, and the Revitalizing Tacoma’s Brewery District project along Fawcett Avenue from South 19th Street to 6th Avenue. These projects will replace pavement, upgrade curb ramps to meet ADA requirements, construct mid-block crossings at key areas, install traffic signal upgrades, install HAWK beacons, upgrade utilities along the corridor, and install other bicycle and pedestrian facilities.
