City of Tacoma Observes Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday on January 17

 

Administrative offices at the City of Tacoma will close on Monday, January 17 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday. 

The Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center (3510 S. Mullen St.) will be open as normally scheduled, from 8 AM – 5:30 PM, and customer garbage, recycling, and food/yard waste collection will not be affected.

 

All Tacoma Public Library locations will be closed on Saturday, January 15, with the administrative offices closed on Monday, January 17. 

 

There will be no parking enforcement by City staff on Monday, January 17.
