City of Tacoma Observes Thanksgiving on November 24 and 25
The Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center (3510 S. Mullen St.) will close – and garbage, recycling, and yard waste will not be collected – November 24. Customers whose garbage, recycling, and yard waste are normally picked up on Thursdays or Fridays can expect pick-up one day later this week. All other customers can expect pick-up as normally scheduled.
All Tacoma Public Library facilities will have special hours on November 23, from 10 AM - 6 PM, and all facilities will be closed November 24.
There will be no parking enforcement by City staff November 24 and 25.
