Community Vitality and Safety Committee to Receive Briefing Regarding
Proposed Updates to Rental Housing Code on May 25

 

TACOMA, Wash. – As a reminder, the Community Vitality and Safety Committee is scheduled to receive a briefing from City of Tacoma staff on May 25 regarding proposed updates to the Rental Housing Code, developed in partnership with other members of the Rental Housing Code Stakeholder Advisory Group to better protect tenants and improve outreach to housing providers across Tacoma. The Rental Housing Code Stakeholder Group is comprised of City of Tacoma staff, non-profit and affordable housing representatives, housing providers and tenant advocates. Their work to develop the proposed updates to the Rental Housing Code began in 2021.

 

The Community Vitality and Safety Committee meeting on May 25 will begin at 4:30 PM in the Tacoma Municipal Building Council Chambers (747 Market Street, 1st floor).
