Celebrate History in the Making at the 2024 Historic Preservation Awards Tomorrow Night
--Community Invited to Join 2024 Award Winners for Free, Family-Friendly Event--
TACOMA, Wash – Community members are invited to join in the fun and watch history in the making at the City’s annual Historic Preservation Awards celebration tomorrow, May 23. Presented each year by the Tacoma Landmarks Preservation Commission, this free family-friendly event starts at 6 PM in Tacoma’s historic Blue Mouse Theater (2611 North Proctor Street).
The annual Historic Preservation Awards celebration is the marquee event held each May to mark Historic Preservation Month. The awards recognize the critical work of community members to enhance and preserve Tacoma’s unique character through outstanding heritage related efforts.
