Event Road Closures

Anticipated Event-Related Road Closures Expected Around Tacoma through Sunday, July 21:   

  • On Saturday, July 13, the Tacoma Pride Festival event will close Pacific Avenue between South 9th and South 7th streets, South 8th Street between Pacific Avenue and “A” Street, and “A” Street between South 8th and South 9th streets from 5 AM to 8:30 PM. During this time, Court A between South 9th and South 7th streets will be limited to local access only. 
  • On Saturday, July 13, the Silverstone Pride Day Celebration will close St. Helens Avenue between Opera Alley/Court C and South 9th Street from 6 AM to Sunday, July 14, at 2 AM.
  • On Saturday, July 13, the Mix Pride Block Party will close St. Helens Avenue between South 7th and South Baker streets from 6 AM to Sunday, July 14, at 6 AM.
  • On Sunday, July 14, the Art on the Ave event will close 6th Avenue between South Cedar to State streets from 6 AM to 8 PM.
  • On Friday, July 19, the Hilltop Scholars Graduation Block party event will close South 21st Street from South Ainsworth to South Cushman avenues from 11 AM to 3:30 PM. 
  • On Saturday, July 20, the Friends, Family and Community Weekend event will close South G Street between South 19th and South 21st streets from 11 AM to 4 PM.
  • On Saturday, July 20, the Church Betina Anniversary event will close South Pine Street from South 56th Street to mid-block in front of the church from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Reoccurring Closures
  • The Broadway Farmers Market closes Broadway from South 9th to South 11th streets every Thursday from 7 AM to 5 PM.  

  • The Proctor Farmers Market closes North 27th from North Proctor to North Madison streets every Saturday from 7 AM to 3 PM.
