Did you clean out your garage or teenager’s room over the holiday weekend? 😬 Instead of sending unwanted (but usable) items to the landfill, bring them to our Beyond the Bin collection events and give them a second life. Events take place at the Tacoma Recovery & Transfer Center, 10 AM to ...2 PM, every second and fourth Saturday May – September. Your donations will go to local nonprofit partners who repair, repurpose, and redistribute them back into the community, helping neighbors and reducing waste.
Next event is June 14. Full schedule of events at tacoma.gov/beyondthebin.

🪙 Back by popular demand! Due to high interest in our Business Taxes Class that was offered in May, we’re adding a second option on June 10, 2025, from 9 AM – 12 PM. The class is in person, requires an application, and participants should plan on attending two additional virtual classes from... June through August. More at the Equity in Contracting link in our bio.
