On July 22, 2014 the City Council adopted the 2014 Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Regulatory Code amendments. The following links are the tracked change versions of the amendments to the plan and the code:
Plan Elements
The City Council conducted a public hearing on June 3, 2014 concerning the Planning Commission's recommendations on the Proposed Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Regulatory Code for 2014. The Council is scheduled on June 24, 2014 to conduct the first reading of ordinances adopting the Commission's recommendations, subject to amendments.
Planning Commission Review Process
The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on March 19, 2014, and subsequently at the meetings on April 2, April 16 and May 7 considered appropriate modifications to the proposed amendments based on public comments. Posted below are the Commission's review packets for the April 2, April 16 and May 7 meetings followed by key documents associated with the March 19 public hearing.

The Planning Commission reviewed and approved the following Assessment Report on August 21, 2013 and moved all applications forward for technical analysis:

Schedule
The Proposed Amendments to the City's
Comprehensive Plan and the Land Use Regulatory Code (i.e., Title 13 of the
Tacoma Municipal Code) for 2014 (or "2014 Annual Amendment") are generally processed during the timeline of July 2013 through June 2014.
Applications Deadline
