Student Government Day Application Deadline Extended to December 3

Students grades 9 – 12, who live in Tacoma or attend Tacoma Public Schools, are encouraged to apply to participate in Student Government Day. The application deadline has been extended to December 3 for Student Government Day on December 10.

Participants will meet with the City of Tacoma’s Mayor, Council Members, executives and staff to gain firsthand knowledge of how the City serves the community. They will discuss important issues and also play the role of the Mayor, City Council Members and City staff members in a mock City Council meeting.
