The process to fill the City Council District No. 4 position, expiring December 31, 2025, is currently underway. Updates and details are available below.

  Comments will be accepted through Noon on Monday, July 15, 2024.

• The City Council invite members of the community to provide comments about the finalists to help the City Council make its decision. Provide comments using the online comment form linked above. Written comments may also be provided to the City Clerk’s Office by email at cityclerk@cityoftacoma.org. Comments will be accepted until Noon on Monday, July 15, 2024, after which they will be forwarded to the City Council.

• A motion was adopted at the City Council meeting on July 2, 2024, to approve a list of six nominated finalists to be considered at the Tuesday, July 9, 2024, City Council meeting. Interviews are scheduled to begin at approximately 6:00 p.m.
