More About New Library Services in Hilltop--

TACOMA, Wash. – District 3 Council Member Keith Blocker, Metro Parks Executive Director Shon Sylvia and Tacoma Public Library Director Kate Larsen will host a community listening session in Hilltop on Thursday, February 21, from 6 – 8 PM, at the People’s Community Center (1602 Martin Luther King Jr. Way). 

“We want to hear directly from the community members we serve,” said Council Member Blocker. “Making sure we connect in this way gives the City and its community partners the information needed to make better data-driven, community-informed decisions.” 

The upcoming event will also provide community members with an opportunity to learn more about new library services in Hilltop and share their vision for the future of the People’s Community Center.
