Funding Opportunities
The 2023 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Affordable Housing Development and Preservation is now available. Funding will support the following:
- Construction of new multi-family rental or homeownership housing for low-income households
- Acquisition of existing multi-family rental or homeownership housing for low-income households
- Assistance for low-income, first-time homebuyers
- Public right-of-way infrastructure improvements that are directly related to the development of affordable housing (multi-family rental projects only)
Applications for funding will be accepted through Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 4 PM.

Workshop for Applicants
If you are planning on submitting an application for funding, you are strongly encouraged to attend our Zoom workshop on May 23, 2023, from 2-3:30 PM Pacific Standard Time.
2023 NOFA Q&A Document
The deadline for submitting questions to the 2023 NOFA process was June 7, 2023. All questions that were asked during the Workshop for Applicants on May 23, 2023 and all questions that were submitted to City Housing Division staff by email before the deadline have been compiled with responses in the 2023 NOFA Q&A Document.
