An Update for Our Valued Members and Retirees

Please be informed that the TERS office will now require a scheduled appointment for in-person meetings.

Walk-in visits are prohibited

 

We kindly request you to schedule your appointments in advance by contacting our Retirement Specialist either by phone or email provided below. Meetings can be completed either by scheduled in-person appointments, by phone, Teams or Zoom for your convenience.

Town Hall With Deputy Mayor John Hines on December 7

Deputy Mayor John Hines will host a town hall on December 7, 2024, from 10 AM to noon, at the Eliseo Senior Living Main Campus (1301 N. Highlands Parkway). The event is a “Senior Summit” focusing on senior issues and aging in place in Tacoma. All are welcome to attend and share their input and perspectives with Deputy Mayor Hines.

Bi-Annual Affidavit Mailing 2024-

TERS Staff is verifying records, including names and addresses of our members. This enables us to update your contact information and to confirm your continued retirement eligibility. 2024 Affidavit Form 

 

Staff are available to notarize your form in-person free-of-charge by appointment only. To schedule a notary appointment, or if you have questions, please contact the Retirement office at (253) 502-8200. 

 

Establishments such as your bank or credit union, print and ship retail location (FedEx, UPS Store, etc.) or a mobile notary may be available for free or at your cost.
