City of Tacoma Observes Thanksgiving on November 28 and 29


TACOMA, Wash. --- Administrative offices at the City of Tacoma will close November 28 and 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. 

 

The Tacoma Recovery & Transfer Center (3510 S. Mullen St.), including the Recycle Center and Household Hazardous Waste Facility, will be closed on November 28, and there will be no garbage, recycling, or yard/food waste curbside collection on that day. All curbside collection throughout the rest of the week will occur one day later, with Friday collection occurring on Saturday. Information specific to a customer’s address can be found at cityoftacoma.org

 

All Tacoma Public Library facilities will be closed Thursday, November 28. 
 

There will be no parking enforcement by City staff Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29.
