Community Forum Resumes Virtually July 14 

As the City of Tacoma continues its efforts to adapt public services to conditions created by the COVID-19 pandemic, Community Forum resumes as a part of the July 14 virtual City Council meeting.  

The City Council uses input they gather during Community Forum to inform their policy decisions. Items of discussion during Community Forum will be limited to matters over which the City Council has jurisdiction. Arguments shall not be made in support of, or opposition to, any matter on this week’s agenda. 

The Community Forum period will be limited to a total of 90 minutes, and each person may address the City Council for a total of up to two minutes.

Those requesting to speak during Community Forum may do so by clicking the “Raise Hand” button near the bottom of their Zoom window or by pressing *9 on their phone. Their full name, or the last four digits of their phone number, will be called out when it is their turn to speak.
