East 11th Street Bridge Corridor Study Open House on March 14

The City of Tacoma is holding an open house regarding the East 11th Street Bridge corridor spanning the Puyallup River through the Port of Tacoma area. The event will take place on Thursday, March 14, from 4 – 6 PM at the Center for Urban Waters (326 E. D St.).

The City is studying options for the East 11th Street Bridge corridor and will review alternatives for replacement or rehabilitation of the bridge and viaduct. The bridge and attached viaduct have been closed to all uses since July 2014, due to structural deficiencies.

Open house attendees can ask questions of the project team and share comments on alternatives. Community members who are unable to attend are encouraged to take the 11th Street Corridor Study Survey to share their thoughts.

For more information, visit cityoftacoma.org/11thStreetBridge or contact Project Manager Dan Soderlind at dsoderli@cityoftacoma.org or (253) 591-5263.
