City of Tacoma's Customer Support Functions Align With Coordinated Community Response to COVID-19
--Customers Encouraged to Utilize Telephone and Email Support, 311 Mobile App Connectivity and Online Resources When Possible--
With staff stepping up cleaning of high-touch surfaces including door handles, customer counters and seating areas – and use of hand sanitizer dispensers being made available for visitors – all customer support functions at the City of Tacoma are in alignment with the community’s coordinated response to COVID-19.
While public-facing areas throughout the City of Tacoma – such as the Customer Support Center, the Tax & License Office, the permitting counter in Planning and Development Services and the service counters at Tacoma Public Utilities – continue to offer in-person support, when possible, customers are encouraged to observe the precautionary measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control, which include practicing social distancing strategies.
Besides in-person support, the City of Tacoma offers telephone and email support as well as online resources.
