City of Tacoma Observes Thanksgiving Holiday on November 25 and 26

Administrative offices at the City of Tacoma will close Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center (3510 S. Mullen St.) will close – and garbage, recycling and yard waste will not be collected – Thursday, November 25. Customers whose garbage, recycling and yard waste are normally picked up on Thursdays or Fridays can expect pick-up one day later that week. All other customers can expect pick-up as normally scheduled.

All Tacoma Public Library facilities will close Thursday, November 25. There will be no parking enforcement by City staff Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26.
