Upcoming Road Closures on McMurray Road Northeast

The City of Tacoma’s Street Operations Division will perform maintenance on McMurray Road Northeast between Browns Point Boulevard and Marine View Drive. The road will be closed on Saturday, June 12, from 9 AM to 6 PM, with traffic detours in place.

In addition, McMurray Road Northeast between Browns Point Boulevard and Marine View Drive will be closed to traffic on Monday, June 21, from 9 AM to 4 PM. The closure is needed so Street Operations may continue chip-seal preparation work. 

The Street Operations Division has canceled chip-seal maintenance, scheduled for Saturday, June 26, through Sunday, June 27, on McMurray Road Northeast between Browns Point Boulevard and Marine View Drive. This work will be rescheduled at a later date. 

All repairs are weather dependent, and rescheduling may be required. Notice boards will be on location to notify drivers of the project and will also reflect any necessary changes.
